Presenter : Marshall Garnick Immigration Lawyer, Barrister & Solicitor
Marshall Garnick is the founder of the Marshall Garnick law firm, which focuses primarily on matters of immigration and citizenship law. He is also a long-time instructor at Humber College in Toronto, in the Immigration Consultancy program there.
Marshall’s particular expertise involves helping the public, as well as immigration professionals, such as consultants and lawyers, overcome problematic immigration situations. These could be in the category of medical or criminal inadmissibility, for example, or it could take the form of a Judicial Review of an unreasonable decision of a visa officer, in refusing an application of a well-qualified visa applicant.
Marshall is a strong strategist who is unafraid to take on the Department of Justice lawyers, and their client, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.
A graduate of the University of Windsor Law School and York University, Marshall earned his law degree in 1975 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1977.
